About Ben
Benjamin Thomas — Ben — is an aspiring author of contemporary fiction, science fiction, and fantasy. On this site, you’ll primarily find short stories and flash fiction. He is currently working on a novel and an adapted screenplay. Empathy is the bedrock of his work, which often explores the conflict between expectation and experience, the cost and gain of growth, and the beauty of everyday moments.
He’s been published in Flash Fiction Magazine, has a Masters in English from the University of Arkansas, plays too many video games, and calls Kansas City home, where he currently lives with his wife, dog, cat, and soon-to-be kiddo.
